What the app does

GeoMeasure measures land area, perimeter and distance using your device's GPS and the map. You mark points by tapping the map, or you walk a boundary and the app records your path.

Accuracy

Measurements depend on your device's GPS and on the map imagery, and both carry error. GPS accuracy varies with your hardware, the sky view, nearby buildings and the weather. The app shows the current accuracy while you record a walk.

Do not use GeoMeasure as the sole basis for a legal boundary, a land transaction, a planning submission or any other decision with legal or financial consequences. For those, use a licensed surveyor. We provide the app as a working tool, not as a survey of record, and we are not liable for decisions taken on its numbers alone.

Your content

Measurements, notes and photos you create belong to you. They are stored on your device. We do not upload them and we have no server that could receive them. Deleting the app deletes them, so export anything you need to keep.

Subscription

GeoMeasure Pro is an auto-renewable subscription offered monthly or yearly.

Acceptable use

Please do not reverse-engineer the app, use it to break the law, or try to interfere with its operation or with other people's use of it.

Third-party services

The app uses Apple Maps for the map and its street-level imagery, and Google's Firebase for anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. Where a Google Maps key is configured, Street View imagery comes from Google. Their terms and privacy policies apply to those services.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and material changes are noted in the app's release notes.

Liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of it, including loss of data or decisions based on its measurements.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Surat, Gujarat have jurisdiction over any dispute.
